HOOTSUITE CERTIFICATION BLOG POST grade (week 15)

Well the Hootsuite training and was a nice and easy way to learn about social marketing.  Any timed test or certification is stressful but at least some of the questions were pretty easy so that certainly helped.  I did learn a lot from the Hootsuite training and it did help me pass the certification. Funny that it shows I completed the exam at 7:24 AM.  It was actually in the afternoon.....

Social Advertising Bolg (Week 10)

 SOCIAL ADVERTISING BLOG (week 10)

PhilipsGamingEU has some very nice and easy ads to recognize what they intend to accomplish.  As discussed in "13 Twitter Ads examples to inspire your next campaign", this type of display really works well.  I would certainly use the word Giveaway to highlight my intentions to promote something with some free gifts.  I may also emphasis the word "FREE" to further get someones attention.  Cool pictures also are something that I would add to my post.  Along with key words the graphics will certainly get someones attention.

Week 9 - Signal Review

Hello, I just did a quick look at "Signal" and here is my overview in a "Nutshell".

Signal is a private messenger app similar to other messenger apps like WhatsApp.  It seems to have good security and privacy.  It is simple to sign up and there is no need to use your last name so that helps with privacy.  You can create groups and enjoy messaging in private.  Well that's it in a "Nutshell".

Meta Blog Post (Week 5)

Reading about Facebook rebranding to meta was very interesting.  I did not know a lot about this but it does seem to be the next revolution into social media.  Although it is just beginning and not many really know where it will go it does seem to be some type of virtual social media platform where individuals can "meet" virtually.  The concept seems intriguing to me.   If you have friends in different parts of the county or world you may be able to sit with them in your living room and have a discussion and some type of interaction.  Some even see this going so far as having your hologram appear in some ones house or other location and be able to interact.  I certainly see this as an exciting opportunity to move towards the next social media outlet.

Brandon's in a nut shell of Hootsuite (Week 4)

I just completed the Hootsuite Academy Chapter 1 and 2 and found them very informative.  There was a lot of information that was covered and a lot of it seemed to be directed towards larger firms although some of the information could be used by an individual looking to expand their influence on the web.  It really showed that to be effective on the Web you need to keep track of trends and engage with your customers in a very positive manner.  To be very effective one needs to gather  relevant information and how it can be used to increase visibility and productivity.  As I said, the chapters covered a lot of information and some of it was common sense, but it was very productive and informative seeing all the strategies.  I would highly recommend anyone looking for information to increase their production on the web to review theses chapters.

Brandon in a nut shell (Week #2)

I'm Brandon Wejkszner, I'm 20 years old from Mountain Top, PA.  I attended Crestwood High School and at times found myself lost and struggling to fit in.  I played basketball for a few years but lost interest in the sport.  I did get through school but it was a struggle.  Trying to get my adult life on the right track I started to attend LCCC.  I am now finishing my 2nd year at LCCC and will get my Associates Degree in May.  I want to continue towards my Bachelor Degree but am not exactly sure what I want to major in.  I'm hoping I figure it out soon.

Basically, I'm a very nice person that likes to get along with others.  I'm a very good listener and am very caring and respectful to others. I like to spend my time with my family and brother mostly playing video games and watching South Park. I love watching football more than anything else and I am a huge Minnesota Vikings fan. I am planning on going to Minnesota soon to see a Vikings game in person for the first time in my life. I also love going to the beach in the summer with my family. It is definitely the best part of summer for me every year when it comes around.

I believe I am a very good people person who gets along with basically anyone. I am pretty shy but when I get to know someone I turn into a completely different person. I am also a very hard worker and I try to do everything I can for myself or for anyone else whenever I can. Most people really like me when they get to know me and the same goes for me. I also try to stick up for people if they are getting bullied and am always there for anyone who is ever feeling down. I went through a lot and even though I'm just 20 I experienced a lot and can give some really good advice to others.

I am still trying to find out my professional path going forward.  It's amazing that I am actually finishing my second year in College.  A few years ago, I never expected that could happen.  I will continue to push myself and strive to succeed....well that's it in a Brandon Nut Shell.
